If you’ve got Friday tickets for Star Wars Celebration Europe, you’ll want to get there early and make your way to the venue’s Galaxy Stage for the highly-anticipated “Ahsoka’s Untold Tales” panel, which will begin at 11:00 local time.
During the hour-long panel, voice actress Ashley Eckstein will be joining Dave Filoni (Supervising Director of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels) and Pablo Hidalgo (Lucasfilm Story Group) on stage to talk about the untold history of Ahsoka Tano, from her discovery by the Jedi Order as a toddler to her adventures in the unproduced episodes of The Clone Wars.
We may also learn a little more about the upcoming young adult novel, which will explore how the disillusioned former Jedi went on to become one of the key figures of the Rebel Alliance. Star Wars: Ahsoka will be out on October 11, 2016, and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and Amazon UK.
Filoni has often stated that there are more stories to be told with Ahsoka (some set in the years prior to her appearance in Rebels and others set right after The Clone Wars), though it’s unclear whether these will ever be explored fully in future novels or in other spin-off media. Perhaps this panel will shed some light on what the future has in store for die-hard Ahsokaholics…
If (like me) you’re unable to attend the panel in person, you might be able to follow the action online via social media or via a live stream broadcast on StarWars.Com (or other sites).
Links to live stream broadcasts will be posted on the Team Ahsoka Twitter feed and Facebook page nearer the time so if you haven’t already followed Team Ahsoka on Twitter or liked the Facebook page, now’s the time to remedy that. 😉
