In Tune With Tano: A Playlist For Ahsoka Tano

Every so often, my Twitter followers will ask me which songs I feel are a perfect fit for Ahsoka, or I’d stumble upon Star Wars-themed playlists elsewhere on the internet, such as Jen Strawn’s Sabine-themed soundtrack or the character playlists on Spotify, which come complete with groovy lightsaber progress bars.

Normally I’m terrible at compiling playlists for fictional characters; I struggle to find tracks that I feel relate to, or remind me of, said characters and my choices are often a reflection of my (arguably) questionable taste in music. But Twitter friend Radio Ryloth, a contributing editor for Future of the Force, convinced me to give it a shot anyway.

So here are the snippy tunes and sassy beats I’d pick for my Ahsoka Tano playlist:

Some of you may notice some common themes running through this list…and that I have a penchant for cheesy pop and rock music. Many of these tracks celebrate resilience, determination, self-confidence, inner strength, and female bad-assery, driving home the importance of forging your own path in life and encouraging a bold, positive attitude even in the darkest of times.
