Fans of the 2D animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny will be pleased to know that a brand new season of animated shorts will be heading our way sometime in 2018.
The announcement was made during the Forces of Destiny panel at HASCON on September 9 and, according to the Collectors Cantina Twitter account, these new episodes will be in addition to the eight shorts that are slated for release in October 2017. Upcoming episodes will feature fan favourites from across the Star Wars universe, including Hera Syndulla from Star Wars Rebels, Finn and Kylo Ren from The Force Awakens, and legendary scoundrel and pilot, Han Solo.
One of the episodes that Ahsoka Tano fans should be on the lookout for in October is ‘The Starfighter Stunt’, which will see her team up with Senator Padmé Amidala once more (Source: Jedi-Bibliothek).
While we don’t yet know how many new episodes we will be getting in 2018 (or how many of them will feature Ahsoka Tano), one thing is kyber crystal clear: Forces of Destiny is here to stay and it is a force to be reckoned with.
