On November 8, Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger announced that Lucasfilm was developing a new live-action series centred around Rogue One’s rebel spy, Cassian Andor. Diego Luna will be reprising his role as the morally-questionable intelligence officer and the series will be set during the formative years of the Rebellion, serving as a prequel of sorts to the critically-acclaimed 2016 film. Marketed as a spy thriller, the as-yet untitled ... [Continue Reading]

Guest Article: #CloneWarsRewatch: Using Twitter and Rabbit.TV to Connect With ‘Star Wars’ Fans

I watch a lot of media. It’s true. If I’m not on YouTube watching someone play a video game, I’m on Netflix. If I’m not watching something on Netflix, it’s Hulu. Not on Hulu? I’m searching for something new on Amazon Prime or popping in a movie I’ve seen hundreds of times before. I’ve probably watched Simpsons episodes hundreds of thousands of times. I’ve put myself through two rewatches of 11 and then 12 seasons of ... [Continue Reading]

If you’re waiting for Ahsoka Tano to show up in Charles Soule’s ongoing Star Wars: Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith comic series, don’t hold your breath. Chances are that Snips will not be making an appearance anytime soon. Team Ahsoka Talks Far Far Away with the Brick City Blockade Podcast Network

Anyone who knows me personally will know that I’ve never been one for public speaking. I can wax lyrical about Star Wars on social media, but ask me to share my views with an actual audience and I’ll just clam up. There’s always that underlying fear that I’ll misquote something, get a fact wrong, or simply put my foot in it. Nevertheless, I recently decided to throw caution to the wind and take my first step into the ... [Continue Reading]

The recently released episodes of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny have inspired fans to create artwork based on the popular animated series. One example is Johnamarie Macias’ fan-made colouring book. Another is Melissa Thomas’s super-cute renditions of the show’s leading ladies. But the artwork that really caught my attention was this home-made diorama of the Jedi Temple scene from the episode ‘The Padawan’s ... [Continue Reading]

Ashley Eckstein Tells Fans “Ahsoka Has a Future”

During one of Disney’s immensely popular Star Wars Day at Sea cruises, StarWars.Com reporter Bryan Young got the chance to chat with Ahsoka Tano herself – Ashley Eckstein – to see if she could shed any light on what Dave Filoni has in store for the character. Unfortunately, all she was allowed to say was that “Ahsoka has a future”. What this purposefully vague statement means for Ahsoka’s future within the ... [Continue Reading]
